Privacy Policy — Global Pulse

Global Pulse is a daily mood check-in app. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app collects and what it does not.

The short version

No account. You never sign up, log in, or give us your name or email.
No location tracking. You pick your country from a list. The app never reads your GPS or device location.
We store only three things when you check in: the country you selected, the mood you chose (Happy, Okay, or Down), and the day it happened.
We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party trackers.

What we collect

The country you selected	To colour the map and count check-ins per country
Your mood (happy / neutral / sad)	To calculate the happiness stats
The date of the check-in (UTC)	To group each day's check-ins and reset daily
An anonymous device ID	A random identifier generated on your device, used only to enforce one check-in per day. It is not your name, phone number, Apple ID, or advertising ID, and cannot be used to identify you.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or any advertising identifier.

How your data is used

Individual check-ins are only ever shown as aggregated, anonymous totals — for example "62% of check-ins from Japan today were happy." No one, including us, can see how any particular person or device checked in.

Where your data is stored

Check-ins are stored using Supabase (a hosted database provider) on secure servers. Access is restricted so that raw check-in records cannot be read by app users — the app only ever receives grouped country totals.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.

Data retention

Because check-ins are anonymous, they are retained to power historical and trend features. As they contain no personal identifiers, they cannot be tied back to you.

Children

Global Pulse is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

Because we collect no account or contact information, there is nothing tied to your identity to export or delete. If you have any questions or requests about data associated with your device, contact us at the address below.
